As you already know, swimming pool covers work great at helping you reduce evaporation while still saving water. Government bodies and councils now recognize this fact and offer are willing to offer you a cash rebate for buying one.
We have listed here some requirements and how to apply for the pool cover rebate in your state.

Pool Cover Rebate NSW
Pool cover rebate amount: $50
Conditions Required:
Property must be a residential property supplied by town water by Byron, Richmond Valley, Ballina, Lismore, or Rous Water Councils.
Product or item purchased, installed and a rebate application should be done between 1 July 2021 and 30 June 2022.
Product is NOT being installed/used to comply with a BASIX certificate for a new development or major renovation.

Flume Rebates
For a limited time, SAWS customers can get a Flume for just $22.80 after a $150 rebate from SAWS!
Eligible SAWS customers may purchase a Flume device here for $150 (plus tax and shipping). A limited number of Flume Systems are available at this price on a first-come, first-served basis.
Once the Flume System is installed, eligible SAWS customers may apply for a $150 rebate. It usually takes 6-8 weeks before you will receive your rebate from SAWS.
Pool Cover Rebate VIC
Here are the current rebates available for pool cover purchases in Victoria.
Pool cover rebate amount: $200
Conditions Required:
For products purchased and installed between 1 July 2020 and 30 June 2023
Be a Smart Approved WaterMark product
Cover should be bought with a reel or roller
Must be 400 microns or thicker

Pool Cover Rebate WA
There are no pool cover rebates in Western Australia at the moment.
Pool Cover Rebate SA
There are no pool cover rebates in South Australia at the moment.
Sprinkler Rebate
The rebates begin at $80 per controller and 35$ per station.
Eligible devices will ONLY be rebated only for active stations. Inactive stations will not be rebated.
Active stations refer to stations physically connected to an in-use irrigation system.

Landscape Rebate Program
4 types are available:
- Landscape Conversion Rebate
- In-Line Drip Irrigation Conversion Rebate
- Irrigation Equipment Upgrade Rebate
- Rainwater Capture Rebate

The aim of the program is to encourage both businesses and residents to convert approved high-water use landscapes, such as pools and lawns, to low-water landscapes, as well as to retrofit existing irrigation equipment with approved high-efficiency irrigation equipment.
You may qualify for rebates valued up to:
$3,000* for residential sites
$50,000* for commercial/multi-family sites (5 or more units)
*Maximum rebates may be even higher in some cost-sharing areas
Rebates are available until June 30, 2023, or until funds are depleted.
Lawn Conversion Rebate California
The Turf Replacement program is a two-part application process.
You must first apply to reserve rebate funds before the state of your project.
Once your reservation is complete, you will be given 180 days to complete the project and submit your request for a rebate.
Metropolitan Water District is offering a rebate of $2.00 per square foot up to 5,000 square feet of a converted yard per year. Your water agency may offer an additional rebate incentive.
Contra Costa Lawn To Garden Rebate
Contra Costa Water District (CCWD) offers rebates to customers for replacing the lawn in their front yard with water-wise landscaping.
Rebate Amount
The rebate is $1 per square foot of lawn replaced up to the maximum amount.
The maximum rebate for single-family residential sites is $1,000; The maximum rebate for commercial, multi-family, and municipal accounts is $20,000 per site.
Eligibility
The program is available to residential, commercial, and municipal customers who receive water for their landscape through a metered service in the CCWD retail and wholesale service area.
Program is NOT retroactive. Projects underway or completed prior to applying and receiving a CCWD approval are not eligible.
Lawn must be in front yard or publicly accessible area visible to the public.
