Polaris Quattro Sport Review – My pool was 90-95% clean in 40 minutes. It does a much better job than my former 380. It does clean much faster since it never leaves the pool surface (and does not have a back up valve like the 3 wheel Polaris cleaners). Its been running for an hour and a half now and theres hardly any leaves left scattered about on the bottom. Either way, it made very short work of a very dirty pool today. I feel a since of relief that it appears to be working as advertised.

Which do you think is better? The premium Polaris 3900 sport (P39) or the Polaris Quattro Sport (P40)?
I believe it boils down to what you need it for and your budget. The P40 climbs and scrubs the walls to the pool waterline much better and overall has better coverage while the P39 costs less and cleans pool in an excellent fashion, it just lacks the wall scrubbing ability and some other unique features of the P40.

Remember, the Polaris P40 is the sister cleaner to the Polaris Quattro Sport and it is the first major update of the Polaris Pressure Side Cleaner in more than 40 years.
